We’ve recently submitted for planning and Listed Building consent A design scheme for the regeneration of the Grade II Listed Kielder Castle in Northumberland.

The proposal creates a mixed-use leisure, arts and hospitality centre in a key heritage building within Kielder forest. A sensitive contemporary load-bearing stone entrance block replaces an unsightly lean-to addition creating a much improved entrance experience.

Following creation of the new entrance block the neglected spaces of the castle will be reconfigured and upgraded to create a mixed use cafe, restaurant, leisure and visitor accommodation facility.
