As recreation centres and in-person sports, fitness, and dance classes are not available right now, here are some suggestions for some ways to stay active and have fun:

·        Many dance and exercise studios have started doing live virtual classes on Instagram Live. Check with your family’s teacher to see if they are offering anything

·        Sports and entertainment personalities are reaching out on social media to share their strategies to keep healthy, and keep their kids engaged

·        The app stores are loaded with fitness apps that provide a wide range of workout options for any fitness level or style preference – why not take this opportunity to try something new?

Some people are experiencing increased levels of stress or anxiety. Meditation is a proven way to stay centred and reduce stress levels. Most meditation apps offer some free options to get started and give it a try. I have used Headspace, and they offer mediations for everyone including children.
