Alright, buckle up, kiddo wranglers! Here are the five "epic" games to keep those tiny tornadoes of energy entertained during the school break. And by "entertained", I mean "maybe, just maybe, tire them out a bit."
"The Floor is Lava": Because who doesn't want to transform their living room into a bubbling pit of molten rock? The floor is lava, and the goal is to get from one side of the room to the other without touching it. Good for agility, balance, and realizing that your couch isn't as sturdy as you thought. Bonus: Volcanic eruptions (AKA giggles) are 100% guaranteed!
"Sock Puppet Theatre Pick a path": Gather all those odd socks (you know, the ones that have been lurking at the back of the drawer plotting world domination) and craft the most outlandishly hilarious sock puppets. Put on a show, but let the audience create the plot, it will make absolutely no sense but they'll love it as it's their story.
"Hide-and-Seek: Superhero Edition":It's hide-and-seek but with a twist! Everyone must dress like Superhero's (or at least as much like a ninja as one can with household items) and strike a DC/Marvel pose when found. If you're discovered in an epic stance, it doesn't count. You can't use the same epic stance twice.
"Indoor Snowball Fight": No snow? Move South! Or crumple up some paper or grab some soft plush balls. You could spend the morning making wool balls using wool and cardboard. Google it, then let the indoor blizzard begin! Best played with dramatic slow-motion dodges and over-the-top war cries. Sunglasses for that "cool action hero" effect are optional but recommended.
"The Great Spaghetti Tower Challenge": Arm the small humans with uncooked spaghetti and marshmallows and challenge them to build the tallest, weirdest, or even the floppiest tower. You'll be amazed at their engineering prowess -
