KickStarter Journal Day 16 - Learning From Your Mistakes

Day 16 of my KickStarter Journey has come and gone. No new backers but an important lesson to share. This lesson is about learning from your mistakes. 

I have a funny story to share about what not to do. Earlier in the day I wrote about being wary of spammers flooding your email the momment you create a KickStarter campaign. I talked about how intrusive and annoying they could be.

Just shortly after writing my journal I found myself doing the very thing and was quickly reprimanded by someone who didn't appreciate it. After the correction I immediately apologized and removed the person from my list.

I didn't mean any harm but I realize that I have to be respectful of others space. It's hard not to want to shout to the whole world what you created but if you want  to have credibility then you have to be respectful.
