5 tips to kickstart your SPRING STRATEGY

It's not what you do it's HOW and a Business development strategy and plan is key

It’s been a long old winter and we are now getting glimpses of spring, to lighten our soul and spirit.

There is no doubt it’s been tough for many people in business, what are you finding right now?

If you are struggling, what is it you are finding the most challenging?.

Last week on linked I saw that lead generation and finding new customers is at the top of the list for many business owners, Let’s face it lead generation is critical but so is being able to convert those leads into sales and new business

Do you have a new business development strategy to support you in your business or are you kind of just throwing spaghetti at the wall?

Of the key tips I am going to share today, my top one is and must be

‘’Create a business development strategy for the next 90/180/ days minimum’’.

We often need to look longer ahead however that cans be paralysing for many people with overthinking coming in

So, the best way to get started is a quick review of the last 6 months and map out your 6 month business development plan

CONSIDER THESE POINTS

  • What’s the overall picture in your business.
  • What’s good what’s bad what’s ok?
  • What lead generation has worked, where are sales coming from?
  • More importantly what are you finding the most difficult and why
  • Has your confidence taken a knock, is your spirit low?

If so, how might that be impacting your results, it’s hard to stay focused when we feel less than we are

So first, what can you do for you, say to yourself that will help you feel more positive and take back control.

1)???Take back control and revise or create or recreate your 90–180-day business development plan

2)???What will that look like? How have you been actioning your marketing and sales activity to support your business development strategy

3)???Are you clear on your target market of ideal clients/ customer persona’s? Do you know how your clients ( and prospective clients ) are feeling right now how can you meet those needs?

4)???Is there FEAR stopping your prospects taking action to buy from you – what can you do to alleviate that ? Can you offer a guarantee? Is there something new you can think of

5)???Are you confident, are you feeling in the right mindset or is that a struggle right now?

What can you do to boost your MOJO , regain your motivation , without getting overwhelmed can you think about your VISION for the future for your life and business, what does it mean to you.?If you are feeling overwhelmed then who can help you?


Plus, one final TIP

6)???REVENUE INCOME GENERATION – what is there you can do and offer that you are not right now? Is there an older (forgotten) skill or service that you need to remember that could help you to kickstart your business this spring? What would that look like as a service or offering?
