Kia Sportage Price Reduced Up To Rs. 300,000

In a rather surprising move, Kia Pakistan has decreased the price of its crossover SUV, Kia Sportage. The prices of all four variants of the vehicle had been reduced. The company has not shared the reasons behind this step as the new prices will be effective from March 4, 2024.?

Kia Sportage New Price?

• The first base variant, Sportage Alpha, has see the price reduction of Rs. 250,000, taking it to Rs. 7,300,000 from previous Rs. 7,550,000.
• The second variant, Sportage FWD, will now cost Rs. 300,000, bringing back the rate to Rs. 7,740,000 from Rs. 8,040,000.
• The Sportage AWD‘s new price is now Rs. 8,470,000 instead of Rs. 8,770,000 as its price is also reduced by Rs. 300,000.
• The final Sportage Black Edition will now cost Rs. 9,000,000 instead of Rs. 9,300,000 as the company has also reduced its price to Rs. 300,000.

The prices of rest of the Kia cars have remained unchanged.

Booking?

The booking of Sportage Alpha is open with partial payment, while rest of three variants can be booked with full payment.

The primary reason behind this price reduction could be the slowness of the local auto market due to economic and political instability in the country. Like other car assemblers, Kia is also offering multiple “OFF” offers on its cars including installment plans, cashback, free registration, etc. Kia Sportage is the most selling product of Kia Pakistan and this reduction can further hike up the sales of this crossover.

After price increase announcement last week, people were expecting a new wave, however, Kia Pakistan has decided to take an opposite step giving a pleasant surprise to its consumers. Hopefully, this will increase the footfall and sales for the company.
