Khawar Burney and cavity searches

I took a careem a few days back from work to home, the driver was a young guy in his early thirties supporting a buzz cut, wearing a menacing bandana and ear-rings. He was well built, had dark circles beneath his eyes and appeared to have not slept in days.?

At once my instincts told me not to talk much during the ride to avoid nauseating stories about girls, political parties, late night parties, gang related violence and drug abuse... The usual for people who dress a certain way to make a statement and stand apart from the pack. (Yes, a judgment was passed)?

But, to my "delight" the guy started talking through his own volition and never bothered shutting up... Within his prolonged diatribe of hour long marathon winning monologues he brought up a name... The name being 'Khawar Burney'.?

He had my attention for the moment, and went on to narrate how him and Khawar were thick as thieves and rode heavy bikes around the city to their hearts content without a care in the world, I tested him with a preliminary question about what kind of a motorbike he owns to which he confidently said, 'Suzuki Hayabusa', he passed that little test and now I was a wee bit more keen.?

Judging by my lackadaisical demeanor to his verbiage, he proceeded to pull out his... phone from his jeans pocket and started swiping away, showing me pictures with the infamous 'Khawar Burney' and him along with the aforementioned Hayabusa. Doing wheelies on the motorcycles, riding around the city in Vigo's and Pajero's with a real life enchained lion cub barely 7-8 months in the back of the vehicles with them acting like belligerent idiots, their were videos of them standing at random places emptying automatic weapons with a barrage of 'air firing'.?

The guy was legit.?

So I had to ask, did Khawar kill the guy near Seaview due to which he is now on trial??

At once my driver said, no!?

"The bullet came from somewhere else", I gave a wry smile and said cheekily, so.... ISI shot the guy at Seaview??

"I don't know bro, all I know for certain is, the bullet came from somewhere else and Khawar is innocent."?

This is the Karachi of old, remnants of the olden days very much visible even after visible efforts to bring peace and tranquility back to the troubled metropolis, I jokingly say mid-conversation sometimes that Karachi might be the only place in the world where almost all 3 crore of the populace has been abducted by "extraterrestrial beings" and given a cavity search.?

P.S The guy was also a car racing freak and sandwiched the car between two gasoline trucks, so much so that I could feel the burning sensation from the trucks exhaust pipe on my arms and face, my heart was literally in my mouth but I maintained false bravado.
