Funding boost for Kingston-based KAPDAA and visit from Science and Technology Minister

KAPDAA is among 100 businesses in the UK to receive funding for?feasibility studies involving artificial intelligence. KAPDDA is developing Ai4FIBRES, which uses AI for textile and fibre recycling and aims to?reduce the fashion industry’s environmental footprint and cut back on the estimated 921,000 tonnes of used textiles disposed of in household waste in the UK each year.

Dr Melissa Jogie , leading academic at the University of Roehampton ,?has won a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded Policy Fellowship?to evaluate and develop interventions on ‘how policing can add value to street outreach activities’.
