Postponement Announcement:

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) in Greece has officially announced a delay in the implementation of the e-delivery system. Initially scheduled to go live on December 1, 2024, the system's launch has been postponed to provide businesses with additional time to adapt to the new digital framework for tracking the movement of goods.


Updated Implementation Schedule:

Phase One: The first phase will now commence on April 1, 2025. This phase will focus on select sectors and introduce essential shipping document functionalities.

Phase Two: The second phase, expanding compliance requirements to all businesses, will begin on October 1, 2025. This stage will require more detailed reporting and broader adherence.


This postponement aims to ensure a smoother transition for businesses, allowing them to better prepare for the upcoming digital requirements.

1. Key Drivers and Leadership

 

The initiative is led by the General Directorate of Taxes (?DGI) to enhance efficiency and transparency.

 

xHub, a Moroccan software engineering firm, has been selected as the technological partner.

 

 2. Timeline and Milestones

 

Start Date: October 2024.

 

Target Completion: Fully operational system by October 2025.

  • ZATCA Announces Wave 19 for E-Invoicing Integration

ZATCA announces Wave 19 for e-invoicing integration in Saudi Arabia. Taxpayers with revenues over SAR 1.75 million in 2022 or 2023 must integrate with the Fatoora platform by September 30, 2025. This supports Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation and enhances tax compliance.

ZATCA Announces Wave 19 Criteria for E-Invoicing Integration Phase in Saudi Arabia 

Criteria for Targeted Taxpayers 

Wave 19 includes taxpayers whose VAT-subjected revenues exceeded SAR 1.75 million during 2022 or 2023. 


Integration Deadline 

Selected taxpayers must integrate their E-invoicing solutions with the Fatoora Platform by 30 September 2025. 


Phase Two (Integration Phase) Requirements 


Integration with Fatoora: Taxpayers' systems must connect to ZATCA’s platform. 

Enhanced Invoice Format: E-invoices must adhere to specific formats and include additional mandatory fields. 

Gradual Implementation: The integration phase is being rolled out in waves, with notifications issued at least six months in advance.
