It was great to see everyone at LMA23, and we hope you had as great of an experience as we did.

Topics such as how to use AI effectively and responsibly, and the many new marketing technology services and software offered in our industry further illustrates how our industry continues to evolve and grow, as well as the importance of investing in marketing and business development.

Chris Fritsch spoke about marketing technology essentials at the LMA Quickstart pre-conference, one of her favorite topics. She and Paul Bonner of Venable discussed how to understand the myriad law firm technology products and benefits, key tech terms and concepts, the legal marketing technology ecosystem as it varies by firm size and how technology can benefit marketers.

Chris also noted that marketing technology is a smart and sound investment because it supports law firm strategy; enhances communication, coordination and client service; aids in efforts to develop business and increase revenue; and helps firms stay ahead of its competitors.

A key theme in multiple presentations at LMA23, which is something in which we strongly believe, is that?having high quality, accurate and usable data is essential for success in every marketing and business development initiative you undertake. Clean, accurate data is essential to bolster your CRM and other systems and ensure your content (client alerts, press releases, announcements, invitations, etc.) actually reaches your clients, prospects and other audiences.

Knowing you need strong, accurate data and actually having it is the big challenge for all organizations, especially law firms – and small- and mid-size firms that don’t have the internal resources and staff to manage the data.

A frequent question asked by visitors to our LMA23 booth was, “Can you help us clean up our data?” And the answer is?yes, we can. We can handle your data stewarding needs, manage your alumni data, and we look forward to discussing this with you!
