Being associated with The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been a significant milestone in my journey toward driving social impact. My introduction to Dr. @Mohan B Rao, the current Chairperson, by @Dr. Deepak Deshpande during the pandemic opened doors to opportunities I could not have imagined. Working with the CII Education Task Force not only bolstered my confidence but also introduced me to an incredible ecosystem of meaningful connections.

One of the standout sessions was the masterclass led by Vijaykumar, which created an immersive, engaging environment with active audience participation.

Will AI Replace Humans? A Thought-Provoking Panel

The most engaging discussion was moderated by our CEO of Impactsure Dharmarajan Sankara Subrahmanian , where he addressed a burning question: “Will AI replace humans?”

His response was both heartfelt and inspiring:

This statement left the audience reflecting deeply on how human traits can complement AI, making it a tool for collaboration rather than competition. As Head of HR at an AI/ML organization, participating in this conclave and sharing our experiences with a global audience was a proud moment.

Inspiring Conversations: Ranjana Maitra & Women in STEM

Ranjana Maitra’s session was particularly insightful, as she candidly discussed the challenges women face in STEM. She highlighted the “3 Ms” – Marriage, Mobility, and Motherhood – as key factors contributing to a drop in women’s professional participation. Although the participation of women in STEM fields is improving, there is still room for growth and inclusion.

Madam Dr Pankaj Mittal captivated the audience with her storytelling abilities, effortlessly connecting with both students and faculty. Her stories resonated with participants, inspiring everyone to reflect on their own journeys and aspirations.

Reconnecting with @Dr.Vijay Page

Another highlight was reconnecting with Dr. Vijay Page, Ex Director General of MET Institute of Management. Dr. Page has focused on several forward-thinking initiatives such as Controlled Environment Agriculture and Bovine Power Generation Systems. Meeting him again in Mumbai, after having first connected while I was in the UAE, was an opportunity to explore new avenues for collaboration.
