The Key to Successful Leadership Today is Influence, not Authority.

Have you come across leaders that are hugely successful and are also highly influential?

The kind of leaders I am referring to are a rare class, who have a magical attractiveness that goes far beyond charisma, into reverence and influence.

People simply get drawn to them and under their leadership there is no stress, conflicts dissolve, relationships get healed, and results get achieved, harmoniously.

In percentage terms, such exceptional leaders are few and far between. Actually, it is a broad spectrum out there - from people who are toxic, and not accepted as leaders on the one end, to those who are really admired, and even sought-after on the other, as depicted below:

The sought-after leaders are very compassionate and genuinely humble.

They inspire and coach others to give their best. They are driven by their inner being, which is how they get their attractiveness, and, the ability to influence. Our inner being, as all wisdom traditions point out, is comprised of pristine goodness, and when allowed to radiate out, unhindered, packs immense power.
