Key Success Factors for Advocacy and Advocacy Teams

On 4 June 2018 at Geneva's Graduate Institute in the beautiful Villa Barton by the lake, I had the pleasure of joining Susan Brown, Head of Global Advocacy at the GAVI Alliance and Sofia Ferreira, Regulatory Affairs Manager at Fresenius, on a panel to discuss what drives top advocates and advocacy teams.

Braving a massive thunderstorm, participants from the private sector, the NGO community and multilateral organisations (including the WTO and WHO) debated what it takes to be a top level advocate in an increasingly complex policy-making world.

The event was moderated by Ellwood Atfield colleague Christophe Lécureuil who is also Executive Director of the European Centre for Public Affairs (ECPA).
