Key Points from MS Ignite 2022

As was expected, Microsoft Ignite was an exciting time for professionals that work primarily in the #Microsoft business ecosystem. There was plenty to see and listen to.

The focus of the event was based on, from my perspective, a few important pillars. #Azure as a platform, #Microsoft365 as the central hub for collaboration, Security as a mindset, and the Power Platform as a tool for rapid realization of business-oriented application building. As an exhibitor, we are always engaging with organizations that live in this world and would like to strengthen the use of Microsoft based technologies with purpose-built tools for the task. GroupID is an excellent add-on solution that makes your investments in time and money into these technologies return value more rapidly. As an attendee, I take it upon myself to think of new ways that we can help organizations leverage these disparate technologies in meaningful ways. To accelerate the usefulness. It is also a means of validation – proving that what we have built to date is having a positive impact.

Some of the more interesting bits of information that came out of the conference were. The rapid adoption and acceleration of Microsoft Teams. The announcement of Microsoft Teams Premium showcases the integration of post-meeting analysis with AI, including AI generated tasks and personalized insights. I could not think of a better way to leverage AI in a natural way than to have the critical thoughts and discussions in your meeting conclude with actionable items. Integration of GroupID and Teams together in the future will further enhance the experience using team-owner given AI insights, team owners will be able to teach GroupID what people to bring into your teams conversations and remove those who no longer need to participate based on the intelligence matrices given.
