From Challenges to Triumphs: Unleashing Your Problem-Solving Potential
Let’s start the series with delving into the mastery of problem-solving skills and discover how you can tap into your innate abilities to overcome obstacles with ease.
Problem-solving is a valuable skill that can greatly enhance your personal and professional life.
When faced with a difficult situation, those who possess effective problem-solving skills are able to analyze the issue, generate solutions, and implement strategies to achieve the desired outcomes. This ability not only enables you to resolve complications efficiently, but it also positions you as a valuable asset in any team or organization.
The Intuitive Approach
By way of full disclosure, I am not qualified to offer a comprehensive discussion of a broad range of problem solving solutions.
But that’s not to say I am either or both of a lousy problem-solver or problem-denier.
Both my Meyers-Briggs Assessment and my life experience confirm that I am very intuitive.? Specifically, I also have some level of claircognizance.? What that means is that more often than not, I can see solutions to problems before many people are even aware of a problem.
As much as I value my inborn intuition, which frequently manifests itself as claircognizance, I am grateful that I was totally oblivious to this characteristic until the legal phase of my career was well behind me.

If you have ever seen a movie or theatrical production involving court-room drama, you know full well how important evidence, aka the facts, is in legal processes.?
My legal training was difficult and challenging enough based on fact-driven decision making.? Whatever the issue to be addressed or problem to be solved, there never seemed to be enough fact-based information to unequivocally support one side or another.? ?
The mind boggles at what would happen in response to the suggestion that a decision be made of the basis ?of one’s intuition or claircognizant insight.
But that was then.
Now, if working alone, as is my normal practice, whenever I receive an intuitive insight, I trust the process and follow wherever it leads. ?From experience, this has become a very efficient and reliable problem-solving process.
On the other hand, if working, or otherwise interacting with someone else, I have learned to keep intuitive insights to myself and work through a more conventional? fact-driven problem-solving process. ?
That’s because people who don’t understand or trust intuition invariably dismiss my insights as anything from pure and simple B.S to acute know-it-all-it is.? Invariably it’s a lot easier to use my insight as a guide to find the real world information to support my intuitive insight.
And when it comes to gathering information about the way that things really are, few processes are better than the trusty SWOT analysis.
The SWOT analysis is discussed in detail elsewhere and need not be repeated here.
