The Key to Personal and Professional Success

The Key to Personal and Professional Success

Emotional strength, do you know this term?

Well, I have a dream! Old-fashioned, but inspiring...

I have a dream that everyone has EMOTIONAL STRENGTH!

In August 1963, 250,000 people gathered at The Mall in Washington to hear Martin Luther King speak, and this is what he said: "I have a dream...".

It left a mark for decades, and even today, we use it as an example. The feelings that erupt within us are what define and move us, and that is exactly how Mr. King managed to awaken so many people.

Try to specialize technically 10,000 times, but it will be your lack of empathy, lack of emotional balance, lack of a human perspective, that will make you crumble like a sandcastle in the waves.

See, the modern world is full of dangers, things that are trying to frustrate our lives or hinder our journey, reduce our opportunities for success.

It could be a boss who persecutes you, a disharmonious team, the highs and lows of the economy, the uncertainty of the stock market. It could be a new technology that makes your business model obsolete overnight. Or it could be your internal or external competition, sometimes trying to harm you. Sometimes, it's trying to take your place or shut down your business, at the very least, it's working hard to frustrate your growth.

We have no control over these forces!

They are constant and will not go away.

The only variable is the conditions within ourselves.

These dangers insist on dragging us into a valley of shadows... and it's up to you to react and be stronger.

So think, what is your dream? What inspires you and makes you grow? What keeps you stable and balanced? Can you understand what lifts you up or shatters you down?

This will make all the difference!

I told you at the beginning of this text that 250,000 people went to listen to Mr. King’s speech. How many do you think went there for him? All 250,000? Negative!

ZERO!

None of them were there for him. They were all there for themselves.

Mr. King didn’t go around telling people what needed to change in the USA; he went around telling people what he believed in, what his dream was. And the people who believed in what he believed in took up his cause and made it their own.

Feelings, emotions... feelings and purpose.

Self-confidence and self-knowledge.

Understand your feelings, know your emotions deeply, enhance your emotional intelligence, and have more than that, have emotional strength. And you will be the creator of your story, the leader of your actions, the master of your emotions.

Make this your dream, define your purpose this way, and have success, nothing less!
