The Key to Organized Success

The source of POWER is ORGANIZED EFFORT!

You may recognize this from Napoleon Hill and The Law of Success.

I have seen this result many times over. Just recently, the Super Bowl featured two very capable teams, with more betting on the Chiefs than the Eagles to win for a three-peat. We saw the supposed to win team (Chiefs) get obliterated for 3 quarters by the Eagles. While they came alive a little during the 4th, it was too little too late. The Eagles did a fantastic job, they worked extremely well together!

The thing is, when the cameras zoom way in on the faces of the players, we can see in their eyes an "organized" mind or a "disorganized" one. One that is understanding of the challenge and ready to push back at it, even attack it.

Sadly, our organizations are often times a bit disorganized. The boss is thinking about the taxes and raising funds for growth. The VP of Sales is worried about the next deal they need to close. The operations is worried about fulfillment. The maintenance is trying to keep equipment running. The HR is trying to comply with regulations. And if you're a smaller company, a few of you is trying to do all of it.

Look at any element that you feel has power.

Nature - the ocean, volcanos, wind and storms, trees and growth, animals, even things down to the particle level of electrons.

Mankind - movements (either good or bad), individuals, families, organizations

In EVERY case there is a recognition around the law of organized effort.

In EVERY one of them, you will find in it ORGANIZATION - or organized effort.

The KEY to organized success is NOT having money and capital, employees and skills, or even right timing and demand.

The KEY to organized success is HARMONY!

If we take the smallest of particles, an atom, and we create dis-harmony in it, we get a thing called the Atom-b^mb.

Chemistry lessons go a long way here to illustrate harmony amongst elements we find in nature and the dis-harmony that can also be present.

Harmony can be described as a state of peace, calm and happiness where things thrive.

Dis-harmony is chaotic, stressful, and often brings confusion, anger, and resentment.

So Rion, WHY do we create HARMONY?

Let's continue with our particles metaphor.

Any given cell has a nucleus.

The nucleus CONTROLS and REGULATES the activities of the cell.

HARMONY IS THE NUCLEUS.

If your organization (be it a business, family, organization, marriage) is to have organized success, it MUST be developed around the nucleus of harmony.

The closer a group of minds more perfectly comes to harmony with each other, that spirit will ensure that "each mind in the group becomes immediately supplemented and re-enforced by a noticeable energy called a "Master Mind"." --Napoleon Hill

Ok Rion, HOW do we create this nucleus HARMONY?

A few suggestions I have picked up along the way.

1) Where are there VOIDs in your life?

Sit back and float away from yourself to do a quick diagnostics check. What "FEELINGS" do you have that are negative? This may be anger, fear, worry, anxiety, hatred, resentment, jealousy, etc. These are SIGNS for the VOIDs in your life. The signs are just the same as any sign, it is notifying you of something. In this case, dis-harmony.

2) Who are the PEOPLE in your life?

This one is harder. Take a quick look at those of your "cell". Who seems attached to the nucleus of harmony and who seems to fight against it?

You HAVE to find and judge the character of people in your business, in your circle. If you don't "get along", there is no way that harmony could every be your true nucleus and you will ALWAYS be falling short of true organized energy.

If the "fire" element is mixing with the "gas" element, it's best to separate the two and quickly before there is an explosion and all hopes of harmony are lost.

3) What is the FOCUS in your life?

In order to have a nucleus of harmony, it has to be centered on something. This might be a purpose or mission (your company is doing ____), a goal or objective (winning the super bowl), or even a feeling (love and compassion drive many in harmony).

If there is struggle in finding what that focus is for you, then it is guaranteed there will be struggle for others to find it and fall in sync with you towards that nucleus of harmony.
