Let’s hear it for Team Harvard Investments, which collaborated with Team Estrella to truly give from the heart by raising $20,525, the most among the 70 companies whose employees turned up on a brisk fall morning to support a great cause, the 2024 West Valley Heart Walk at the City of Goodyear Civic Square. Team Estrella also led the Top 5 teams list (among 150 teams total) with $12,751 raised; Team Harvard Investments was No. 5 with $7,304 raised. We’re especially proud of company President Timothy Brislin, who raised the most money, $7,304, among the 1,957 walkers. Tim also served on the West Valley Heart Walk Executive Leadership Team. Way to go, Tim! Participating in the Heart Walk is about?coming together, getting hearts pumping, honoring survivors, raising lifesaving funds, and having fun along the way. Bold moves, and dedicated researchers and volunteers, have resulted in significant medical advancements for more than 100 years as the American Heart Association forges ahead into the organization's second century. The West Valley continues to be an area of tremendous growth, attracting new residents and business expansions. With more than half of the Valley’s future growth expected to be west of the 101, West Valley mayors are implementing policies and infrastructure now to support that growth. Valley Partnership’s November Friday Morning Breakfast featured a rousing conversation with Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo, Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn, and Surprise Mayor Skip Hall. Two of Harvard Investments' major developments are in the City of Goodyear: Estrella and Goodyear AirPark. Jeff Zimmerman,?Amy Weidman,?Roger Theis,?Jennifer Meyers, and?David Westberg were in force to represent Harvard Investments and Estrella. Grow West Valley!

Let's hear it for Team Harvard Investments, which volunteered at yesterday's 2024 Valley Partnership Community Project at Sojourner Center in Phoenix. The team of Claudia Sieb, Rhonda Wells, Cameron Wells, Jamie L. Cleveland and her daughter, Charlotte, 8, helped paint the Serenity Garden and build desks and a bench.
