Nebraska, Iowa latest:
- The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services reported Friday that there are 17,591 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nebraska. According to the DHHS, a total of 244 people have died from the coronavirus since the pandemic began.
- On Friday, the Iowa Department of Public Health confirmed 392 additional COVID-19 cases. According to the Iowa DPH’s COVID-19 website, 25,127 positive cases have been confirmed statewide since Iowa’s outbreak began. The Iowa DPH reported three additional COVID-19 deaths for a statewide death toll of 660. The website said 473 of the state’s deaths involved Iowans with preexisting conditions.

- On Saturday, the Douglas County Health Department reported 109 new cases of COVID-19. That brings the total number of cases in Douglas County to 6,349 from this outbreak.
- The Health Department also has received four additional death certificates for people who have passed from COVID-19 related illnesses. In Saturday's update, DCHD said one man and three women, all more than 70 years old, passed away. Two of the deaths were in late May and two were this month. The total number of deaths linked to the pandemic in Douglas County now is 80. DCHD has confirmed 2,359 county residents have recovered from the illness.
- On Friday, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced that 29 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lincoln, bringing the community total to 1,588. The number of deaths in the community remains at 10.
- On June 19, Pottawattamie County Public Health (PCPH) reports 25 new COVID-19 cases. Three individuals are from Carter Lake, two are from Underwood, and the rest are from Council Bluffs. One of these cases is epi-linked, and the other individuals were tested between June 15 and June 17. Four of the individuals are ages 0-17; 10 are 18-40; seven are 41-60; four are 61-80.
