Kersten Dealer Conference 2017
On a drizzly, but nevertheless spectacular day in September, Kersten Dealers from up and down the UK met in Harrogate for the first ever Kersten Dealer Conference! The location was the beautiful Pavilions of Harrogate, which was a very fine venue despite the mixed weather. And The dealers were welcomed by our name in lights and some refreshing coffee after their sometimes long drive on the notorious M1!
The Conference Kicked off at 10am with an introduction and walk through our new website from the Managing Director, Chris Faulkner.
The new configuration website is a huge leap forward in showing our products, and enables our dealers and customers to easily select the correct attachment for their specific model of tractor; their specific application of site maintenance; or by navigating through the products. Making it a very simple and tailored experience that ensures the right solution.
I then took to the podium in front of a very engaged and friendly audience to discuss the key markets that Kersten Machines are sold into and how Kersten solve the maintenance problems within these markets; including regular site maintenance, remedial moss and weed removal work and snow clearance.
Marketing was on the agenda, looking at how our dealers can spread the news of Kersten Solutions to customers through product demonstrations, social media, our newsletter, blog posts, product literature and the many other ways Kersten can connect with and reach our customers through our fantastic dealer network.
Followed by a preview of some exciting new products to be launched at SALTEX in November!
Douglas (Operations and Product Support Manager) did a great job talking the dealers through our support infrastructure and warranties before the group went outside as the weather cleared up to be shown a full line-up of the Kersten and Meyer ranges of machinery.
Finally the group came in to be presented with some exciting offers we have for our customers over the next few months. The day was a great success, with many longstanding and hopefully some soon-to-be dealers supporting the day!
I very much look forward to working closely with all of them in this coming year!
