The 'Doing Business in Kenya' workshop seeks to enable the delegates get a better understanding of the Kenyan tech and digital ecosystem, and learn from your shared experiences.

On our panel titled Kenya, an innovation and tech hub in Africa, i shared the following key points :

1-Unique strengths Kenya bring to Africa’s tech innovation landscape include; Talent evidenced by BIG Tech presence, geographic advantage as gateway to East Africa, youthful population to test out innovation (Kenya ranked high on crypto adoption among other tech) before launching to larger markets, policy environment that is elastic to some degree evidenced by recognition in MTP IV Digital economy , laws data protection act, cybersecurity act among others in. addition to innovation masterplan by KENIA, Fibre optic and digital hub programs. Lastly is the coherent structure of the innovation ecosystem with formation of a number of associations etc

2-There is a great need for government to take a leading role in providing funding to startups through local sourcing to innovation and technology from local founders and startups eg Mpost working with Kenya Postal Corporation. This will provide credibility needed to access private sector market, export market and funding from local and international investors

3-There is need to recognition of startups to enable systematic data collection by KNBS and CBK on socio economic contribution which is correlated to budget allocation to the sector.

Kenya's innovation stakeholders have an opportunity to develop stronger ties with Mayotte, even more in the framework of the EU – Kenya Economic partnership agreement.??

??I am starting a private security firm to end homelessness of American veterans and civilians. The veteran benefits and social security can keep on flowing into bank accounts that have no annual and no minimum balances. These funds will always be used on behalf of your American citizens. All my commandos will do is give them investment advice. Talk to my 2nd in command PHILIP OMONDI and Narindra ANDRIAMBELO The security program will also target mental health of the special operators because me who is their leader is affected by bipolar 1, and we have many special operatives with ptsd, depression, and bipolar 1. We also have a program to feed 100families from the street and the needy homes this Christmas. We are here as diplomatic close protection officers who solve hard problems asymmetrically. ??
