Meaning: I disagree with what you just said
Example: I BEG TO DIFFER with those people (Trump, Bolsonaro, etc.) who say that global warming doesn’t exist.
Today’s 2nd expression: “A force to be reckoned with”
Meaning: A?person?or?thing?considered?to?be?strong,?powerful,?or?difficult?to?defeat
Example: “Although the other party’s lawyer is only 29, she is a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH in a courtroom.”
Q: How would YOU express these in French?

2 年1) Permettez-moi de ne pas être d'accord Selon le contexte, on peut aussi penser à "je dois me porter en faux contre..." 2) un adversaire redoutable, on ne doit pas sous-estimer son adversaire ou, plus trivial, quelqu'un qui va nous donner du fil à retordre
