Kennies posts in 2024 (browse through and bookmark for a later learning moment)
Kennie Nybo Pontoppidan
Principal Program Manager at Microsoft. | Helping small and medium sized companies run their business with ERP and analytics | Supporting Ukraine
In early 2024, I took a decision to get more active on LinkedIn and broaden my view on the types of topics I would engage in. The reason was that over 2023, my focus had changed from evangelizing the telemetry feature towards an interest in analytics, BI, and reporting (in Business Central).
First thing I did back in February was to rename this newsletter to Kennie on Business Central (the name is inspired by the Joel on Software blog and books). Then I started to blog (almost 30 newsletter editions got published this year). And post a couple of times each week. And engage in discussions here (and moving some of them to Yammer or to a personal discussion). It seems to be working. I more than doubled my follower count from 3000 to 7800, my newsletter saw a similar increase in subscribers, but most importantly: I get so much meaningful feedback from customers and partners, and this dimension to my work as a program manager is just amazing.
So, for all of you who follow me and subscribe to my newsletter:
Thank you so much for all the interactions. They make my day - every day.
I wrote this post also as an easy way for you to catch up on learning in case you missed a newsletter or maybe subscribed during the year. Below, I have gathered links to posts that I believe are worth looking into. So, browse through the list and bookmark (or CTRL+click) things that you want to look into when you have a few minutes available for learning. And then in the new year, maybe set aside 10 minutes of your time every morning (before opening your inbox) to learn something new.
Here goes (and merry Christmas if you celebrate. If not, just wish me a merry Christmas... :) )

Posts about learning and reflection?
What I learned from community members in the Fall of 2024 (and a few of my own posts)
For me personally, the way I evolved and developed go-to-market initiatives for this feature fundamentally changed the way I work with product development and the subsequent uptake with partners/customers. Along the way, I took it upon myself to learn about new technologies and then apply my learnings to this topic.?
