Kennedy FitzGerald Architects are delighted to be in attendance at the Strule Public Exhibition in Omagh showcasing the design for the Strule Shared Education Campus on Thursday 16th November 2017 9:30am-8pm.
Kennedy FitzGerald Architects were appointed Lead Architect in November 2015 as part of the Integrated Consultancy Team led by WYG and includes Knox & Clayton Architects. When completed in 2021, the former Lisanelly army base in Omagh will provide shared educational and sporting facilities for over 4000 students from the wider Omagh area. This flagship project includes the development of an overall Campus Masterplan, Shared Education Centre, Shared Sports Centre and Shared Sports Pavilion and the relocation of Christian Brothers Grammar School, Loreto Grammar School, Omagh Academy Grammar School, Omagh High School and Sacred Heart College to new school premises.
External facilities will include 4 floodlit synthetic pitches, 8 multi-function grass pitches, running tracks and extensive resource areas. Arvalee School and Resource Centre has already been constructed and will be fully integrated into the campus layout.
