Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies Partners with KOSME to Boost Investment Opportunities

Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies and The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency have signed an MoU to boost investment opportunities for Korean startups, share educational resources, and foster the entrepreneurial spirit.

Seattle, WA, March 2, 2024 –– Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies, part of the world's largest angel investor network, is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), a Korean government agency supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Under a recently signed memorandum of understanding (MoU), the two organizations will collaborate to facilitate investment opportunities for Korean SMEs and startups.

The MoU outlines several areas of cooperation between Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies and KOSME. The partnership aims to actively facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and information to identify and promote investment opportunities. Additionally, the two parties will develop strategies by sharing insights into the local market and work to increase funding opportunities for Korean SMEs and startups.

Further collaboration will involve organizing networking events and conferences to build relationships between Korean businesses and investors. Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies and KOSME will also work together to develop programs that support entrepreneurship and foster the entrepreneurial spirit. As part of the agreement, Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies will provide screening and pitching opportunities to companies from K-Startup. This includes up to six companies that can present at Keiretsu Forum Northwest and Rockies’ Deal Screening events and two startup pitch support seminars annually.
