A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the Power of the Ask. In that article, I talked about eliminating the doubt and fear when making an "ask" that is normally out of your comfort zone.
Since that time we, and I use the word we because of my two partners in crime, have been on a tremendous roll in creating content during the Stay at Home order in Wisconsin. We interviewed a 3rd Olympian in Garrett Weber-Gale, an Associate Director from our high school sports association, coaches from Division 3 schools, as well as having our end of the season award show.
We get asked why we are doing it?
The primary reason for doing it that we want the swimming and diving community to stay connected during this time. With the uncertainty of how things will be in the end, we need to make sure our minds are staying fresh and we are still talking about swimming and diving.
The response has been outstanding. The viewership has been awesome. We have enough subscribers to have a custom URL for our YouTube page. As long as we are staying in, we are going to keep making content. #SwimKeepingUsConnected
