Keeping up with all the new technology and changing products can be a full-time job.

I was reminded of this last Saturday when I took an auto detailing class at Megiuar’s corporate center in Irvine. Before you say it, I know, it is just one of my idiosyncrasies. a) I enjoy learning b) you could say I am an automotive enthusiast (even though I have champagne taste and beer budget) c) my dad taught me “take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you.” and since the car I own is the second most expensive thing I own, I plan on taking care of it. I do not lease my cars, I buy them and hold on to them. The last car I had for 12 years! I plan to keep this one at least 10 years. The car is new to me, it is a 2014 with only 22,500 miles’ a single owner / leased vechile. The car has a few scratches and swirl marks that I would like to fix that is why I was looking for information on car detailing and found Megiuar’s detailing classes.  At Megiuar’s I learned about all the new products they have and that the old products I have used have changed and there are better newer technology products like synthetic waxes that give you the same gloss as would a carnauba wax.                Taking this course reminded me of how many of us get caught up in using the same old products because we always have, even though there are newer better products on the market.
