Managing a small business is always a challenge for an entrepreneur. The entrepreneur usually manages most of the tasks in the initial stages of the business. Rarely are entrepreneurs blessed with sufficient financial capital and even more rare are those that can manage the financial capital that they possess.
The initial few years for most new businesses are a tough call and those entrepreneurs that find the way through the maze of all that they have created in the business usually realize that they have to be open minded while making decisions that would impact it.
The last two years have even been more challenging with the industry and business dynamics changing, evolving to suit the new climate. Many businesses have had to adapt to the new environment in order to survive and many have collapsed because they were simply unsuitable to the demands of the customer in this new environment.
Today's smart and successful business utilizes information and communication to do more. It reaches out to larger audiences, it is technology driven which means less human intervention and therefore lower costs. Most businesses that have not adopted to technology will not be able to survive unless they have a unique selling point that allows them to be the outlier. The business that cannot adapt will die. It is that simple.
An entrepreneur will now need to decide how to reach out faster, to the right market with the correct products and pricing with timely delivery. Selling A Product or Service - Storage, Distribution, Collection are going to become specialized as technology evolves and information is easier to garner rather than just data. Analysis is going to the gamechanger.
If a business has the right product or service, reaches out to the right customer and delivers an order perfectly, there would be no end to the number of products it could add and the markets it could reach.

There are plenty of opportunities for business if you understand the game. The business of today is not a product or service but rather information. If you have the right information, your business will flourish around it but if you do not have the right information, no amount of capital funding your business will work.
My firm specializes in Raising Capital for Business but really are we just raising capital. No, we are not.
