Keeping it simple, helps drive results

Welcome back

And welcome back to the weekly Mapsimise Update, it has been another busy week as we follow on from the latest launch of the solution.?I’m really pleased to say that everything went really well with the upgrade and any little bugs got corrected very quickly.

I have always been an advocate of taking the easiest route (No pun intended) but with anything in life and in business the easiest most cost-effective option usually tends to be the best.?I’ve always believed that software should be easy to use, it should not be something you have to learn, more something you just become familiar with and this is why we focus on usability and performance with Mapsimise and this released version has bene no different?

A lot of this week has been spent getting all the new feature videos and content ready for the blog and the new YouTube channel, we hope you find it useful.?

Secondly let’s take a look at the new features around clusters, clustering your data helps build a picture of where the key areas are when it comes to your data.?Clusters can now be used across multiple layers on a Map building spatial views of activity, in this short demo we show you how to use them.

And finally let’s take a look at how you can build a sales territory by location, using coloured filters, data and pin variation.?Sales might be inhouse or in the field, but understanding where things are happening can help your teams work all the of the opportunities they have in their pipeline.

What’s Next

Well for sure we might have now completed the latest release, but the work does not stop, as we are working on some additional great features including integrations with Foursquare to extend the sales prospecting with Mapsimise and we are also working with ReGrid to extend property and address search.

Once we have finished the development brief of sales and prospecting, I will share more, but if all goes to plan you will have access to over 400 million business records worldwide.
