The conversation around AI in 2024 is different than what it will be in 2026, which is different from what it will be in 2028, and so on. Right now, it's a great tool that augments what humans are doing. However, it learns at such an unfathomable rate that within the next 3-5 years, we can expect AI to be able to handle incredibly complex human interactions. Think: full scale online customer service, replying to comments and engaging meaningfully on social media, building relationships with online followers and communities, overcoming objections and closing deals, etc, etc..... ....ALL indistinguishable from a real human. So my point is that while for NOW it's an assistant, in the years to come it will become the creator, manager, monitor, replier, and follow-upper-er (if that's a word). :) I'm extemely well versed in AI due to countless hours of investment into the topic, and what I just mentioned barely scratches the surface of what is to come. People truly have no idea of how this will impact society. Such as the fact that it will eliminate, displace, or otherwise majorly affect 100 million jobs globally over the next 5-10 years. Yet most people I know don't think they're going to be affected. ??♂?
