Keep your struggle a secret till you succeed

The greatest secret of success is that it has no secrets. However, everyone knows about the successful people and the path taken by them to achieve success.

Yet not everyone can become successful by following their path. There is no secret formula of success that can be used by everyone to achieve success in life.

If you analyze two successful men, you would find two different paths of success. If you analyze 10, you would get 10 different paths because each one of us have a different skill sets and qualities to be used to be successful.

Let us take the examples of the politicians who became the PM of India in recent years.

Narendra Modi: Great Orator, Aggressive, Fast Decision maker. : Therefore won two elections and became the most effective PM of modern India

Manmohan Singh: Speaks less, submissive, took few decisions : Was an excellent economist but as a PM was not given much of freedom of operation hence became a puppet PM

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: Great orator, affable, team man, Poet : He was very adorable PM loved by one and all because of his warmth even with opposition party leaders we would take everyone along with consensus and not by force.

They all have different attributes and they achieved success in their own way. In the same way, you can find every great writer, sportsman, businessman carving their own path to success. If you follow any of them, you are most likely to fail in life because no two people have same abilities, aptitude and talents or no two people face the same people and the world and even no two people can use the same formula for success. You have to design your own success based on your own aspirations, abilities and the need of the world.

Just like there has never been a person like you in the world, there can also be no readymade formula of success made for you. You can draw inspiration from every successful person, but you have to carve out your own path of success in life. Everyone is going to tell you that it is only the talented ones which outgrow everyone and reach to the top. It has never been like this because I believe there are two more things that are absolutely necessary to succeed-one is Hard work-consistent hard work with a focus is what is required. The more time you spend worrying about your probable failure, the more time you are taking away from honing your skills. The reality is that that voice inside your head or the noise of the society might be right. You might just fail. But if you aren’t putting your 100%, you will never know the outcome.

People are normally insecure. No matter how much they know, how much they read, if they are not there, in the arena, practicing the art with all they got, they are going to shun you down. Not because they don’t want you to succeed, but because they don’t believe it is possible for anyone.

The second one is Drive- This is one thing everyone forgets while speaking of success. It is the drive which makes you practice your skills on the days when you are least motivated. This Drive is the amalgamation of how much you love your art and how much you believe in your success. If the belief in yourself is missing, success is a gone case. In the absence of belief, you will spend more time worrying about what you will do when things don’t work out. Therefore the secret to the success is combination of hard work and drive.
