Obtaining reliable measurement data of surface-mount components using printed circuit boards (PCBs) is not a trivial task when such measurements must be performed at 100 GHz and beyond. In such cases, it is necessary to account for various factors to perform accurate measurements, including substrate selection, calibration standards, etc. This paper discusses how accurate measurements of surface-mount components using PCBs can be achieved at frequencies as high as 110 GHz when following proper techniques. To demonstrate, measurement results are shown for both broadband multi-layer capacitors and broadband conical inductors. Station 1: the PCB Solder Paste Printer. ?? Station 2: the SPI Machine. ?? Station 3: the SMT Machines. ?? Station 4: the Reflow Oven. ?? Station 5: the AOI/AXI Machine. ???Get PCBAs or "Printed Circuit Board Assembly” ready to be tested then assembled into the final product.
