?? Cutting-edge 3D modelling for The Fleet Street Quarter BID ??
The Fleet Street Quarter vision is a Business Improvement District taking a leading role in shaping the historic location into a thriving quarter. The proposal was established to create a strong business collective that provides a powerful voice for local businesses, inject new energy into the area, and create a safer and cleaner destination for all who live, work or visit the area.
We were delighted to be a part of this landmark moment, by helping bring the evolution of the area to life. Through the use of an advanced 3D model, Fleet Street Quarter vividly depicts the historical background, current condition, and envisioned future of the region. This interactive visualisation enables the public and stakeholders to comprehend the complexities of proposed developments, cultivating a true understanding of the forthcoming transformation.
Click on the link below from the The London Standard to watch the vision come to life and learn more about the planned improvements to the area, including double the number of safe cycle routes and the additional 3,000 sq m of pedestrian space. ??

?? Planning reform causes a stir ??
In case you missed it, this week the Chancellor's Autumn Statement was announced and in it, a 'premium planning service' to speed up council decisions was laid out...
"Hunt said to speed up the system from next year, he will allow local authorities to keep the planning fees from major business planning applications ‘in return for being able to meet guaranteed faster timelines’." Architects’ Journal .
We are keen to know what you think of this reform, but what we do know is that this announcement is good news for the 55 local authorities using VU.CITY ?

??? Plans for the new Museum of London Unveiled ???
Last month we saw the unveiling of the foundation stone for the new Museum of London's home in Smithfield Market. Scheduled to open in 2026, this project stands as the largest ongoing cultural infrastructure initiative in Europe.
We were able to bring the full project to life and into context using our Consented Timeline Scheme in VU.CITY ?
Stanton Williams and Asif Khan Ltd. are collaborating on its design, alongside conservation architects Julian Harrap Architects LLP .
?Winning Designs?
We were excited to congratulate Battersea Power Station on becoming the overall winner at the prestigious NLA New London Awards 2023! ??
This huge revitalisation initiative, which involved the careful restoration of the Grade II* listed building was designed by our esteemed customer, WilkinsonEyre , therefore we were quick to congratulate the team on this well-deserved victory!
