Keep studying every day to be a good professional in any field
I am an engineer who did graduation in the field of engineering which is a bachelor of engineering(BE). After my 12th choose to study Engineering instead of medicine, the reason is many of my relatives and people surrounding me gave me an impression that "If you choose medicine degree you need to keep studying the entire life till you die" this thinking process happens in India at least. Since many of us at that age were looking out for a quick escape for studies, and start working to make some money ended up taking engineering.
After completed engineering in 4 yrs got a job and started earning, life was good. Where my friends who picked medicine still studying. So I had an impression that I had studied enough, made the right choice, nows the time to make money and relax. This continued for a few years. Then I started realizing that -what I studied then is not relevant now or makes less relevant which didn't allow me to grow in my professional life which directly impacts my earning, happiness, etc..,. So I start learning new technology picked up skills and this worked for a few years ONLY, and back to square one "what I studied then is not relevant now or makes less relevant".
So now what I realized is no matter what degree or profession you pick, a doctor, an engineer etc.., unless you keep studying and gain knowledge every day one cannot find continuous growth, happiness any many more things. The day one stops learning new things the growth graph goes down which directly impacts your happiness as well. No matter which profession you pick small or big continuous learning is the key to success and irrespective of profession one will get the same amount of success. I hear people telling after doing so and so ill be done for the rest of my life I can settle no more learning which is a MYTH, it's just a temporary solution to escape from the current situation. So there is no escape from studying learning, Its time to embrace it make a part of life you live.
