Keep Showing Up

Remember...

1. Don't ever stop moving...

Everyone is in the running to get ahead. But if your efforts go unappreciated far and few in between, don't let it consume you. I can recall many times working my butt off to get ahead, help people, and could barely get a "thank you" from most times. Make sure your environment stays positive, give your best, and remove yourself from what does not serve YOU.

2. Beware of Debbie Downers.

We all know people who complain, whine, and nay say all the time. Limit your time with these people as much as possible. If you are trying to move ahead, it will be difficult for you with this kind of vibe lingering around you. Remember, misery loves company and you don't need that crap.

3. Leave the past in the past.

At times you will be frustrated and may have been already. You might want to cry, scream, beat the wall, and that's ok because you're human. Whatever pain you're feeling should not transform itself into fear. If you fail, treat it as a lesson learned. Failing is growing. Over the past years I've failed a numerous amount of times but I can honestly say, there was a lesson in EVERY. SINGLE.FAILURE. Just take notes and press forward.

Three great tips that are always useful, but more so for many during the holidays. Focus on the present blessings. I know that is what I am doing. Thanks CJ Moses.
