Keep Putting One Foot In Front of the Other. Again. And Again. And Again. And Again.

Sunday blues.  Sunday is the Sabbath, a time for rest and reflection.  Often, however, it turns to dread at the work week ahead or whatever it is you may be facing in other areas of your life. 

Leading Britain through WWII to victory, despite the near-crushing responsibility and weight of an entire country on his shoulders, Winston Churchill is one of the primary sources of so many just-keep-going quotes-- quotes that aren't just throw-away lines he gave the public to keep their spirits up, but an underlying philosophy of life he must have believed to the core of his soul, the marrow of his bones, given the challenges he faced.  My hope is that somehow, somewhere it will reach someone needing to read this in whatever challenge that may now seem insurmountable. 

“Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.”

“If you're going through hell, keep going.”

“Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.”

“As long as we have faith in our own cause and an unconquerable will to win, victory will not be denied us.”

And maybe my personal favorite, ever:

“Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.  Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”
