Keep positive, stay relevant

I know that lots of people and organisations are living with genuine concerns for their jobs and livelihoods – it’s tough out there at the moment.? But the one thing that 25 years of working in IT recruitment and ICT consultancy business in in Wellington has shown me, the one thing we can be certain of is - that the market will bounce back.

The perennial question is – WHEN?

Here at VERITY CONSULTING, we are working hard to stay positive and ensure that our service offerings are relevant and add value, and importantly we look after our staff as best we can.? When our consultants have some down time or are on the bench, they are polishing their skills, learning new things, or assisting us to improve the way that we deliver to our customers.

From a business development perspective, we maintain ongoing conversations with our customers, both current and prospective. We strive to understand their personal and professional situations, offering an empathetic ear and support when needed. Of course, doing this over a cuppa is always good if possible!

The key in these challenging (soon to improve) times is to listen, be kind, and show empathy? AND to be ready when the market improves.
