Keep it in mind, leave it on time

Life is full of change, and one of the most important abilities we can develop is the ability to let go of things that no longer serve us. This applies to work, relationships, and even the way you think. As the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said:

“A wise man does not hoard; The more he gives to others, the more he himself receives.”

By letting go of the past in time, we open the door to new opportunities. However, at the same time, this is one of the most difficult tests. After all, the human mind is the epicenter of everything, it is here that many confirmations and divisions occur. We tend to draw a line between the past and the future, between right and wrong, between what must remain and what must be let go. And most importantly, as life teaches us, this line often turns out to be artificial.

In the modern world there is a tendency towards control. We strive to plan, structure and record all aspects of our lives, forgetting that change is inevitable and uncertainty is an integral part of life. Accepting that we cannot control everything and being willing to let go of what no longer aligns with our values and goals becomes the key to personal development. As the American psychologist Abraham Maslow said:

“What could be worse for a person than to fail by trying to hold on to something that should be let go?”

The human mind tends to divide experience into categories: the past is something complete that cannot be changed, the future is something uncertain that needs to be feared or prepared for. However, such divisions prevent us from being in the present. (On this topic i have previously recorded a video which titled "Present needs Present" https://youtu.be/kzLsG3RC2QI?si=6fdj2XO09msJEg-j ). It is in the present, and not in the past or future, that we can make a conscious choice - to let go or keep.

Life is not only the art of letting go, but also the art of holding on. We must find a balance between what is truly important and worth trying, and what weighs us down and slows down our growth. (Also on this topic i have previously recorded a video which titled "Pay the price & gain it" https://youtu.be/CdPtfkbpcFk?si=AxRxjDX9S6WphBHB As Viktor Frankl said,

“A person can endure almost anything if he has something to hold on to.” But here it is important to remember: do not hold on to things simply out of habit or fear of the new.

Thus, the ability to let go in time is not only the ability to avoid suffering, but also a way to open yourself to new opportunities and inner growth. We must remember that no matter how hard we try to control external circumstances, the most important change begins within us. “When your mind changes, your world changes".
