Keep Hoping!!!

Sometimes, when things don’t go according to plan, we lose faith, not only in ourselves, but also in any potential outcome in our lives. Failure will do that to us. When we experience life’s monumental failures, it’s easy to loose hope, and even faith. Hope is not a brand new concept in psychology but it often gets a bad rap.
Now, if you ask me why hope is important, well... hope is not just a feel-good emotion, but a dynamic rational motivational system but hope is not blindly expecting every positive thing to fall into your lap, nor expecting yourself to magically avoid every potential danger. This mentality can lead to inadvertent self-harm.
Realism, optimism and pessimism all play an important role. And the debate is still undecided. What we know for certain, however, is that hope benefits our health and happiness. Life is full of twists and turns, it’s easy to become dejected. Obstacles and adversities show up unexpectedly and we find ourselves out of our comfort zone. People say life is unfair? But is it??I presume they’re referring to life being unfavorable when things don’t go as planned.
We must accept life will be full of: obstacles, road blocks, negative emotions and circumstances that will derail our best laid plans. Knowing this should remove the burden, life is not pure sailing, but an adventure full of valleys and victories. If we fear, “what could go wrong next,” we place an unnecessary burden on our shoulders while dreading the worst.
As Martin Luther King Jr said- Only in the darkness can you see the stars., hence we should always have hope. Hold on to it and never give up. Because nothing is impossible. Hardships are temporary and we have a lot to be thankful for. We are the product of our emotions, given we feel our way through life. If our emotions are fixed on negative aspects, we’re likely to attract those situations because of our predominant reactions. The universe reflects what we put out it. There’s a crack in everything and I guess that’s how light gets in!!
