Keep going, quit, or let go?
I often have a hard time quitting. I think I have to see it through to the end. Sure, nobody wants to be a quitter, but sometimes we look back and it looks like a waste of time. Sometimes you have to move on.
This may mean changing your path or starting over, either way, maybe it’s good to be a quitter at times when we realize things just aren’t going to happen.
Maybe, the best way to look at something you have been chasing for a while, whether it’s a project or a goal, or anything, is to let it go. Just let it go and set it free. Maybe someone else can make it work or maybe it was just not a great idea.?
We often think we’re quitting, and trust me, people will bust your balls calling you a quitter. They’re being funny, but inside it hurts and makes you feel more like a loser. On the other hand, lessons learned, at least you tried.?
Maybe you can pivot or take what you learned to pursue something new. Oftentimes, it opens new doors and introduces you to some new and interesting people.?
Sometimes we just have to move on and set ourselves free to do the next thing.

Put another way:
Embracing the Art of Letting Go
At times, the journey to the finish line can be a relentless challenge. The notion of quitting is often shrouded in negative connotations, yet there are moments when looking back reveals a trail of precious time seemingly squandered. It’s in these moments that the courage to move forward shines brightest.
The Crossroads of Continuation and Change
There comes a point when steadfast perseverance must yield to the wisdom of change. Recognizing that some endeavors may never come to fruition isn’t an admission of defeat; it’s an acknowledgment of reality. It’s about knowing when to redirect your energy and resources towards paths more aligned with your potential for success.
Release and Renewal
Consider the pursuit that has long held your attention—be it a project, a dream, or an ambition. There’s a liberating power in releasing it into the world. Perhaps another soul will find the key to its success, or maybe, in its release, you’ll discover it was never meant to be. And that’s perfectly okay.
The Stigma of Surrender
Society often jests at those who choose to step back, branding them as quitters. While such remarks are made in jest, they can sting, echoing our deepest fears of failure. Yet, there’s a hidden gift in every attempt—the lessons learned along the way.
Pivoting with Purpose
When one door closes, another opens. The knowledge and experience gained from past endeavors become the foundation for new beginnings. Embrace the pivot. It’s an opportunity to explore uncharted territories, meet fascinating individuals, and expand your horizons.
Moving Onward
Ultimately, life is a series of chapters, and knowing when to turn the page is a skill worth mastering. Free yourself from the chains of the unfinished and step boldly into the next adventure that awaits.

Wow. This is one of the most insightful things I have read! I love letting go though it seems to go against every grain of our programming but letting go is stopping making things what they are not and allowing them to be as they are so that we can see a better path.
