Improving Quality of?Strategic Thoughts?:
Spare some dedicated time in your working week, try to visualize things which you are trying to accomplish and how it will help organization in long Run and tweak them accordingly. Encourage your teams to do the same and have good candid, unbiased discussion to get fresh perspectives.?Once we channelize our thinking strategically, execution will be seamless.
One of question which I would always recommend to ask ourselves is, what are my career goals (aligned with organizational goals) for this year, and how I can define success for those career goals. That will answer you where you need to spend your valuable time and more importantly what you need to STOP doing which is less valuable for your goals
Stop saying "YES" to everything. You need time to focus and also need to make sure you are not getting distracted with everything is coming to your way.?
Plan your day in such way that you will do most innovative/strategic work during your early time. Basically you will have most of energy and your overall productivity will be more during that time.?
Enrich your Transformation :
Don’t listen to reply ; listen to understand
Study and Understand different persona, understand different styles and study them. There are lot of segments, likes, dislikes, motivations Vs demotivation factors for different personals.?

Accept Feedback and criticism as gift, there is absolutely no need to be defensive about this. First step to solve the problem is to accept there is problem; Accept the feedback and work on it. Admire the people who give you constructive or any feedback.
Improvement always need to start with "myself".
Learning from own mistakes is old, Now you need to observe all leaders, learn from their mistakes, influential techniques, leadership techniques etc.?
Constructive Communication :
Work on how you can start with conversations with most important data with positive intent than directly getting on the issues, problems etc. This is good practice which we can start working on.
Do your homework on what you want to achieve with particular conversations/meeting and construct those accordingly. Also it would be helpful if we start having few initial lines according to subject. This gives us immense confidence when opening communication goes well.?
Avoid going on loop and repeating same things again. This gives negative impression to leaders. If you make mistakes learn from it and move on. You cannot change past but avoid such mistakes in future. Also keep some time to summaries things at the end and add your key points ready.?
