It’s going to be a scorcher and I was very glad that I managed to get a new tower fan yesterday to help me keep my cool. There are lots of suggestions for how we can manage during our 3-day heat wave, and I will be going to bed with a damp flannel and my new fan.?

Avoid Dehydration in this Hot Weather! Did you know that getting dehydrated is a risk factor for a urinary tract infection (UTI)? If you have ever experienced a UTI, also known as Cystitis, you might be familiar with the tell-tale signs Maybe you’re peeing a bit more at night, it’s not coming out or you feel like you’re not quite fully emptying the bladder. Your urine could be smelly, or a different colour and stinging when you pass urine. Post-menopausal women are more prone to UTI but the advice we provide applies for men too.??
Did you know that Regular Exercise keep you cool?
A little-known fact is that?regular exercise improves your ability to regulate your body temperature?(thermoregulation). This can really help women who are struggling to cope with hot flushes around menopause. In fact, there isn’t one Menopause symptom that regular physical activity won’t help.?
