As the Assistant Director, Internships for the Office of Career Services I am consistently inspired by my students at Kean University. The motivation and dedication they show to achieve at a high level both academically and professionally is inspiring. The obstacles that I have watched students overcome during COVID-19 are remarkable and I know that our students are the future we need.
Kean Interns are highly motivated diverse students receiving a world class education. Fortunately, I am not the only one who thinks highly of our students. Over the last three semesters the Kean University Office of Career Services has collected evaluations from nearly 200 employers on their experiences with Kean University Interns.
Here is some of the data on what employers are telling us.
- 98% of Employers hosting a Kean Intern said they were a great fit for their company.
- 99% of Employers said Kean interns understood company ethics and conducted themselves in a professional manner.
- Employers said that Kean Interns were well prepared academically and worked collaboratively as part of a team, communicated well and responded to feedback in a positive manner.
- Employers reported Kean Interns required little supervision, completed tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Employers reported Kean Interns are able to grasp new knowledge concepts or situations and that interns solved problems using critical thinking skills.

4 年I have taught pretty much all of the Management/ Marketing courses over the last 10 semesters including several Capstones. The students I have had are outstanding. I have written many recommendations for my students A substantial amount of them have been hired and excelled. Many have been promoted and just as many want to come back to get their Masters at Kean. With a world class faculty, it’s easy to see why!
