KD SCHMID welcomes Violinist Guido Sant’Anna to its roster for General Management

London (30 January 2025) - KD SCHMID is thrilled to announce that Guido Sant’Anna has joined the roster for general management, following his time on the KD SCHMID Fellowship Scheme.?

Guido has rapidly established himself on the international stage. After winning first prize at the International Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna in 2022, he celebrated his European orchestra debut at the Rheingau Music Festival, performing with the hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt under Alain Altinoglu.?

His artistry has drawn critical acclaim, with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung describing his performance to be with “astonishing maturity and depth.” His recent US recital debut at The Conrad was equally well-received, with the Times of San Diego stating:?

"Absolutely nothing about his recital hinted at any limits to Sant’Anna’s future potential. In other words: he commands your attention."?

Guido’s accolades include the Audience Prize and Chamber Music Prize at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition, the LOTTO-F?rderpreis from the Rheingau Music Festival (2024), and prestigious performances at venues like the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and Konzerthaus Berlin in the 24/25 season. Imminent collaborations with celebrated ensembles including the Wiener Symphoniker, Helsinki Philharmonic and the S?o Paulo State Symphony Orchestra are on his schedule.
