Oksana Schinas, Senior Event Manager

Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most enjoyable aspect of my role as the Senior Event Manager for the European Identity and Cloud Conference, overseeing speaker management and sponsor relations, is the chance to build connections and share knowledge within the industry. Working closely with speakers, who are experts in their fields, to help them share their insights with our conference attendees is incredibly rewarding. Witnessing them inspire and educate others, and knowing that their contributions are shaping the future of identity and cloud technologies, is truly fulfilling.
Similarly, building relationships with sponsors that support the conference and provide valuable opportunities for them to showcase their products and services to a targeted audience is a highlight of my role. Seeing these partnerships grow and contribute to the overall success of the event is gratifying.
In summary, what I find most rewarding about my job is the chance to facilitate connections, share knowledge, and drive innovation in the dynamic world of identity and cloud computing.

Q: What do you do outside of work?

It might sound boring at first sight, but outside of work, I spend quality time with my family. One of our favorite pastimes is playing UNO Flip together—it's always fun and gets everyone laughing and competitive.
Another passion of mine is exploring Greece and the Greek islands. There's something magical about hopping from island to island, soaking in the sun, and immersing ourselves in the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and great food. And when I need a moment to unwind and escape, you'll often find me engrossed in a good book. Whether it's fiction, non-fiction, or a thrilling mystery, diving into a captivating story is the perfect way for me to relax and recharge. Overall, balancing these hobbies and interests outside of work helps me stay grounded, refreshed, and ready to tackle whatever challenges come my way.
