kaZING: Blockchain Part 3

In prior posts we've discussed the current unmet need in the market. Home-dwellers and Small Businesses cannot get the help (labor), resources (equipment), and materials (supplies) for a simple project to arrive when, where, and within budget. They must turn to expensive professional service companies or try to do it themselves using local rental stores, handyman services, and purchase supplies from retailers themselves. The biggest challenge is how to get needed equipment, like utility trailers, on-demand and delivered, versus having to search online and then go to a location to pick it up. They want access to the resources they need on-demand, where they need it at the time it is needed, in a simplified rental / shared model. All affordable and accessible.
Thankfully on-demand labor services from companies like TaskRabbit, Thumbtack, Handy, Takl, and others have partially solved the labor issue. However, get the equipment and the labor along with the materials to arrive at the same place, at the same time, and within an affordable price is the impossible task that kaZING makes possible. That’s where kaZING establishes high value as a logistics platform and “experience” broker.
Business and individuals are looking for reliable and trustworthy providers. What they need is someone to bring the services industry into the modern-day world through blockchain technology and a simple, trustworthy platform. They want to trust that reviews on a platform are unchangeable, untamperable, and recorded for every transaction. Current issues plaguing the home services industry revolve around review transparency, inadequate screening, and a limited framework for customers and service providers to interact.
Existing large service providers such as Amazon Home Services and HomeAdvisor operate in a highly fragmented market. kaZING will provide a seamless framework in a trustless environment where neither party needs to trust the other because all information is independently verified and immutably stored on the blockchain. By focusing on contract life-cycle management and reducing transactional friction, kaZING removes current industry barriers formed from platform models targeting either matchmaking or competitive bidding.

Due to complexity of use, time commitment or expense, rarely do small service providers leverage Back Office applications necessary to meet the varying demands of professionalism required across the spectrum of small jobs – even the minimal documentation to memorialize the agreement is often neglected and causes frustration and churn for all vested parties. Small providers often lack a tool or process to ensure a clear and agreed upon scope and the ability to make modest changes that still result in a fair exchange.
