Kaws, Jean-Michel Basquiat X Keith Haring at the NGV
Pure luck. I sometimes do some running, when I feel like it or when the moment is right. While on a morning run I passed the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and noticed the Kaws/Basquiat/Haring exhibition that was taking place. Before leaving town I simply had to visit it and oh boy was it worth the time.
As pioneers of street art a lot of their work was on display. As they were mentioning they were closing down in 30 minutes, we had 4 more halls to go. Here are a few photos.
