Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing to take America for the first time as the Prince and Princess of Wales. The British royal couple will travel to Boston and stay there for three days starting Wednesday, and the highlight of the trip will be William’s presentation of the Earthshot Prize for sustainability on Friday at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The couple last visited the U.S. in 2014 for a three-day trip to New York City and Washington, D.C., and this latest visit marks a new chapter.

Lyst , the fashion shopping platform that serves 200 million users worldwide, has released its annual year in fashion report. Miu Miu Miniskirt, JW Anderson Pigeon Clutch and BIRKENSTOCK Boston Clogs Among Hottest Items in 2022, according to the report.
After analyzing data gathered from January to October, the platform concluded that 2022 was Miu Miu’s year. Searches for the label, which was founded by Miuccia Prada in 1993 as a more personal subbrand to Prada, increased by 49 percent on Lyst year-on-year, and it was mostly driven by viral products such as its ballet flats, as well as the miniskirt, which was first introduced in the brand’s spring 2022 collection.

On Monday, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty brand agreed to pay $1.2 million to settle a consumer protection lawsuit for misleading consumers. The lawsuit — originally filed in August in three California district attorney’s offices, in addition to the Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office — claimed that the brand cofounded by the megastar failed to inform VIP members about recurring charges in its subscription program. The brand also did not receive the proper consent for automatic renewal fees. In addition, the lawsuit alleges that the retailer incorrectly advertised prices and how to use store credit to purchase goods.

Fendi is adding another layer to its longtime connection with Design Miami .
Following the unveiling of its first Fendi Casa store in Milan last April, in central Piazza della Scala, a new flagship opens on Wednesday in the Miami Design District , coinciding with the start of the international fair.
Fendi has for more than a decade presented a series of special projects at Design Miami together with established and emerging designers including Chiara Andreatti, Cristina Celestino, Dimorestudio, Formafantasma and Peter Mabeo, to name a few. Some of these products are now being reissued and are part of the new Fendi Casa collection.
