Kasapreko PLC's Green Ghana Initiative
Kasapreko PLC has embarked on a significant tree planting initiative in collaboration with the Forestry Commission as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This initiative aims to plant 3,000 trees over the next three years, beginning with 1,000 trees at the Chipa Forest Reserve in Dodowa.
Together with Herbal Farms & Research Institute, Kasapreko PLC has started this journey to contribute to the Green Ghana agenda and combat climate change by reforesting the Chipa Reserve, with the first phase planting 1,111 trees and a goal of reaching 3,000 trees in the coming years.
This initiative is a key component of KPLC's ESG strategy, complementing other efforts such as the One4Life project and providing potable water for deprived communities. At KPLC, sustainable operations and positive community impacts are paramount.
