Karnataka to Implement its Own Version of NEP
Karnataka decided to implement its own State Education Policy instead of adopting the NEP. The aim is to create a policy that aligns with the specific needs and priorities of Karnataka, focusing on regional languages, infrastructure, and the quality of education in Karnataka. New Rating System for Medical Colleges
The National Medical Commission in partnership with the Quality Council of India to introduce a rating system assessing medical colleges. The system will evaluate factors like infrastructure, faculty, teaching methods, and research output, aiming to provide students with reliable information about the performance and standards of medical colleges across the country. Indian Government to Expand CBSE Globally
The government plans to establish more CBSE-affiliated schools in foreign countries and encourage collaborations with foreign educational institutions.
